Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas Recognized by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management
Alexandria, VA (May 28, 2023) – The 2012 Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas (CFC-O) has been awarded the National CFC Innovator Award for the sixth consecutive year. In addition, two of the campaign’s representatives have been awarded CFC Hero Awards from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
The Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas (CFC-O) announced today that its online eGiving system will remain open for contributions through 31 December. Contributors can make their end-of-year eGiving donation as a one-time or monthly recurring gift using a debit card, credit card or electronic transfer directly from their bank account.
Superstorm Sandy affected thousands of people on the East Coast of the United States. In response to the storm, the Department of Defense is providing aid to support disaster response and recovery. Many CFC-O charities have also mobilized staff and resources for the hardest-hit areas of east coast of the United States. For the past two years the CFC-O has run an art competition for Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) elementary school students. This year, Ms. Susan Yarwood, LFCC Vice Chair, arranged to have the beautiful artwork displayed at the Pentagon to honor the creativity of the participating students.

Your opportunity to show you care through a Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas (CFC-O) pledge to your favorite charity begins 17 September. The CFC-O, which ends on 16 November, is the annual workplace giving campaign for the five overseas combatant commands. Administered by Global Impact, the CFC-O raised nearly $14.3 million in 2011, demonstrating the generosity of DoD uniformed and civilian personnel.
The Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas (CFC-O), the annual workplace giving campaign for the Department of Defense (DoD), is pleased to announce the winners of the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) PSA Contest. This was the fourth year that the CFO-O teamed with DoDDS Europe and Pacific and Armed Forces Network (AFN) to raise awareness about the CFC-O and to give youth in the DoDDS a chance to share the campaign’s key messages using their creative video production skills.
