Your Chance to Pledge Has Been Extended

The Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas (CFC-O) announced today the extension of the 2014 CFC-O to give contributors more time to make their pledge. The CFC-O will be extended to Friday, 21 November for contributors within AFRICOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM and SOUTHCOM. For contributors in PACOM, the campaign will be extended to Friday, 5 December.  
 
Additionally, myPay and eGiving will be open for pledging until Monday, 15 December.

Vote for your Favorite 2014 DoDDS CFC-O Video

Every year  the CFC-O hosts a DoDDS PSA contest for middle and high school students to submit CFC-O themed videos. The videos for the 2014 campaign are in and we need you're help! Please help judge the videos by "liking" your favorites on the following YouTube playlist: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLllMdqHX_XtGQVIaH92D8q_11cEydGa3-. The winning PSAs will be finalized this summer, and will air during the fall 2014 CFC-O season. 

 

 

2013 CFC-O RESULTS AND THANK YOU

2013 Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas Pledged Nearly $11 Million for People in Need

 
The Combined Federal Campaign Overseas (CFC-O) announced that generous Department of Defense (DoD) uniformed and civilian personnel serving overseas pledged nearly $11 million through the 2013 CFC-O. These contributions provide critical funding for many worthy charities, including ones that benefit wounded warriors, men and women in active service and their families.

Aid for Typhoon Haiyan Victims

Super-Typhoon Haiyan displaced more than 500,000 locals and affected nearly 7 million people in the Philippines. In response to the storm, the Department of Defense (DoD) is providing aid to support disaster response and recovery. 
 
Marines from Okinawa mobilized immediately and are on the ground providing assistance and critical supplies like water, food, hygiene kits and plastic sheeting to affected areas. Transport aircraft from various branches of service, the aircraft carrier USS George Washington and other U.S.

2013 Participation Surge

The CFC-O hosted the third annual participation surge competition 12 – 22 November. This year’s football-themed contest was very popular, and the field positions continue to advance even after the offical contest closed.

I stared at the email in my inbox with a slight mix of curiosity and alarm. I read the message again, this time aloud. Yep, I had been tasked. The email was sent to inform me that I would be serving as my unit’s designated Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas representative for this year.

2013 CFC-O Kicks Off 16 September

Your opportunity to give to your favorite charity through the Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas (CFC-O) begins 16 September. The CFC-O, which ends on 15 November, is the annual workplace giving campaign for the five overseas unified combatant commands.

2013 CFC-O DoDDS Art Competition Winners

The Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas (CFC-O) announced the winners of the annual 2013 CFC-O Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) Elementary School Art Contest. Contest judges recognized six grand prize recipients from entries received at the kindergarten through fifth-grade levels.
