Help a Teacher, Help Change the World

Many times, students who attend low-income schools are limited in resources that will lead them towards academic success. However, it does not mean that low socio-economic students should be limited in opportunities and funds to support their education. As a public high school teacher, I was able to present students with opportunities and resources, such as the purchase of computer tablets, visitation to science research centers, and a chance to participate in a science bowl competition – all because of support from a CFC-funded non-profit organization!  Support from CFC organizations provide my students with educational tools and opportunities that promote college and career preparedness.
