Contributor Recognition
Uniformed service members and DoD civilians are historically benevolent with the charitable gifts they make through the CFC-O. In 2011, the CFC celebrated a 50-year tradition of caring. The CFC-O marked the event by awarding contributors with a 50th anniversary commemorative coin.

The popularity of these coins led the CFC-O to institute an annual contributor coin and coin design contest open to DoD employees and their family members. Historically, coins have been distributed in the military to recognize outstanding service. CFC-O contributors serve their country every day and extend that generosity and service to others through their contributions to the campaign. The CFC-O looks forward to establishing a tradition of coins designed by members of the community that can be collected from year to year.
In 2012, contributors who pledge $150 or more ($12.50 per month) will qualify to receive the collectible coin shown below. The quantity of coins is limited. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
